Meet the Bees! Busy Bee Costume-Building & Rooftop Farm Visit
To bee, or not to bee.
Build a costume with City Growers to outfit kids for Honey Fest's Be-A-Bee Parade in the Rockaways in BLDG 92 in the Brooklyn Navy Yard!
Afterwards, head *up* to the farm for family-friendly bee and honey activities:
Check out our buzzy Brooklyn bees up-close and personal through the glass of our beautiful observation hive!
Learn the waggle dance, the cool moves honeybees make when they're giving directions to yummy patches of flowers, and see if you can spot any bees busting moves!
Use your five senses to experience the different colors, fragrances, and tastes of honey, and the pollinator-friendly plants that keep our little black-and-yellow friends so busy!
