Metropolitan Ballet Theatre has been presenting the full-length traditional staging of The Nutcracker since 1989. Year after year audiences are enchanted by MBT's performances which feature student and professional dancers, fabulous costumes, and beautiful scenery including a Christmas tree that seemingly grows forever, magical dancing dolls, marching toy soldiers, giant mice, a dazzling blizzard with dancing snowflakes and a land of luscious sweets.

Q&A
Question: |
Are there any discounted tickets for children (ages 5 and 6)? |
Answer: |
All student tickets are reduced to $18. Adults are $22. If you order a group of 10 or more tickets to any one performance, tickets are $17 each. |
|
Question: |
May I bring my two-year-old? Does she need her own seat? |
Answer: |
Every person needs a ticket and their own seat at any age per fire marshal regulations. Some 2-year-olds love the performance and some get a little restless. There is a nice lobby if your little one needs a quick break, and there is a 15-minute intermission between the 2 acts. Student dancers as young as 7 are part of the cast, so it's nice for the little ones in the audience to see other young dancers on the stage! |

Question: |
Does the student ticket apply to college students? Or is it for K-12 students? |
Answer: |
Any student ID is fine through college! |
