Songs For A New World
"Songs For A New World," the first musical of composer Jason Robert Brown (PARADE, BRIDGES OF MADISON COUNTY) is a contemporary "song cycle" musical that examines life, love and the choices we make. This abstract piece is made up of a series of songs all connected by a theme, "the moment of decision." Composer Jason Robert Brown has said of his show, "It's about one moment. It's about hitting the wall and having to make a choice, or take a stand, or turn around and go back." The songs evoke a range of emotions and tell life-changing stories. CDC is thrilled to be producing this rarely seen or heard musical.
