The Whatcom County Farm Tour, hosted by Sustainable Connections Food and Farming program, is a free, family-friendly and self-guided tour of 12 fabulous farms/food producers in Whatcom County. Always the second Saturday in September, the 2014 tour is Sat. September 13, from 10am-5pm. Pick up your tour guide starting August 15, available online and at Community Food Co-op stores, Whatcom Farmers Co-ops, county libraries, visitors centers and more.
With a minimum $25 charitable contribution, you will receive a Farm Tour VIP bag, filled with coupons and freebies available from each of the farm stops, a Sustainable Connections 'Where the Locals Go' Coupon Book and more. Purchase your VIP Farm Tour pass online here or on the day of the Farm Tour at one of the stops.
