"Model and ToolHow We Go On" A Poetry Reading by Kim Bui Burton, George Lober and Elliot Ruchowitz-Roberts
In his poem "Axe Handles," Gary Snyder writes about the relationships between poets, how, metaphorically, in the words of Ezra Pound, "When making an axe handle the pattern is not far off." In this poetry reading, Kim Bui Burton, George Lober and Elliot Ruchowitz-Roberts explore the relationships between their poems and the poems of other poets, between "model/And tool, craft of culture,/How we go on."
