Rat City Rollergirls Junior Derby Clinic
The Rat Rollergirls are proud to present the annual Junior Derby clinic, coached by the Rat City Rollergirls All-Star Team!! This clinic will be split between beginners and intermediate/advanced skill levels to offer specific training to your game play!
Here you will receive in-depth on-skate training and learn the most recent rules of the game from fan favorites like Missile America and Luna Negra, as well as former junior skaters now All Stars, Rattle Skate, Short Fuse, and Enurgizer Bunny!!
This clinic also offers classes off the track, including an off-skate training session with a certified Fitness Trainer, Ethan Bitzer. Ethan brings years of personal training to take your derby game to the next level and has been training the RCRG All Stars to be stronger, faster, and endure the challenges of top level play!
The clinic will also have Jalapeno Business, former Rat City All-Star and employee at Fast Girl Skates, leading a knowledgeable skate gear workshop to make sure you have the best tips and gear for your body, style, and game play!!
TRAINING SCHEDULE:

8:30am - 3pm
INTERMEDIATE/ADVANCED ONLY

INTERMEDIATE/ADVANCED ONLY
9am-4pm
Topics Covered:
-Basic skills (skating form, speed, falls, and stops)
-Agility and footwork
-Blocking and containment
-Hitting
-Strategy concepts
Following with a Scrimmage where you can apply your recently honed skills!
AGES 13-18 with parent waiver for minors (under 18).
THINGS TO BRING:
-helmet
-mouthguard
-elbow pads
-wrist guards
-knee pads
-skates
-water bottle
-lunch and various snacks to keep your energy up during the full day of activities!!

Beginner (sat only) $65
Int/Advanced (2 day) $75
