A sneak peek at the storytellers...
STACY BOLT is a Portland writer who can be seen and heard on OPB's Live Wire and at the True Stories reading series. She's also one half of "Literary Thunder," a performance-based collaboration with poet Scott Poole which occasionally involves wrestling. Her essays have appeared in Portland Monthly and Imbibe magazine and are archived, along with the occasional rant, on her blog These Things Happen.
NATHANIEL BOGGESS AKA DJ Teenage will be starring in his very first one-man show called "This Is Not a Date" all about his dating trials and tribulations sometime this year.
ELI HIRSCH is a 14 year-old musician. He is the lead singer of Portland band Meet Your Monster. He has been in various plays around Portland, including "Tales Of A Fourth Grade Nothing" which he won the 2008 Drammy "Best Young Performer" award. He is a co-founder and organizer of Kids Rock 4 Kids, a benefit concert for the Mercy Corps Global Children's Program, where local young (under 18) bands played. In 2009 KR4K raised over $6500 for impoverished children all around the world, and packed almost 1000 people into Portland's historic Crystal Ballroom. He is also a smelly, moody, and dumb ass teenager that is a sophomore at Cleveland High School in SE Portland.
ERIC REID is an actor and writer. He is also the Director of Soap St. Theater (soapst.com). Originally from Baltimore, he is psyched that his new daughter is a west coast kid.
auGi has appeared on NBCs Last Comic Standing, is a graduate of The Second City conservatory, and spent seven years alternating between glorious rapture and absolute torture as a standup comedian in LA. auGi is currently developing a one-man show called SexyNurd, an autobiographical exploration of a rock star trapped in a nurd's body.
AARON WALKER Aaron Walker is a systems administrator, aspiring writer, and unicorn convergence enthusiast. He moved to Portland six years ago to avoid death by boredom in Phoenix, AZ. He will probably talk about boobs if you meet him in person.
As an Intuitive Counselor, BRIDGET PILLOUD stands on the corner of common sense and woo-woo. She works with people. She works with pets. She also teaches and writes about intuition. Bridget was most recently seen in Ignite 6, with You can stop shitty little dog syndrome. She lives in Hillsdale with her sweetheart Brian, and their 3 kids, plus 3 dogs and 3 cats.
