The history of Ridge Vineyards begins in 1885, when the Monte Bello Winery was constructed on 180 acres of land in the beautiful Santa Cruz Mountains. The first vintage was produced under the Monte Bello name in 1892. The property changed hands in the 1940s, and Ridge Vineyards produced their first Zinfandels in 1964 at the Geyserville property. Ridge's estate holdings have continued to produce world class Zinfandels and Bordeaux varietals for over 50 years. In 1969, Paul Draper took the helm as winemaker and brought Ridge into a new era. His hands-off approach has been enjoyed for decades by consumers and critics alike, as reflected in Ridge's high marks at the 1976 Judgement of Paris. Please join us as we welcome Christina Donley, Regional Sales Manager for Ridge, for a dinner featuring both current release wines and two library selections of Monte Bello, paired with a menu crafted by Chefs John Madriaga and Mark Sullivan.
