JACK has a baby grand for a weekend!

We suddenly have access to a baby grand at JACK for a weekend, and decided to program the pianists we love, pairing each with a writer, in an effort to cross-pollinate our music and literary audiences.

Friday, September 5: pianist Angelica Sanchez and poet Christian Hawkey
Saturday, September 6: pianist Cooper-Moore and writer Carl Hancock Rux
Sunday, September 7: pianist Connie Crothers and poet Eileen Myles

TICKETS: $10 in advance, $15 at the door

All shows at 8 pm (7:30 door)

Saturday, September 6: Cooper-Moore joined by writer Carl Hancock Rux
Cooper-Moore will start with a solo set, followed by a reading by Carl Hancock Rux, followed by a set by the Cooper-Moore Trio:

Pascal Niggenkemper on Bass
Cooper-Moore on Piano and Multi-Instruments

Sunday, September 7: Connie Crothers and poet Eileen Myles
The evening begins with a reading by Guggenheim fellow Eileen Myles followed by a set by Connie Crothers with Ken Filiano on bass.
