Jacqueline Schwab Piano Improvisation WORKSHOP
Folk and classical improvisational pianist Jacqueline Schwab, recognized for her performances on soundtracks for public television documentaries produced by Ken Burns (including Mark Twain, the Grammy award-winning Civil War and the Emmy award-winning Baseball) will be presenting a workshop for pianists who would like to improve their IMPROVISATIONAL SKILLS.
The two-hour workshop is $20 in advance (plus applicable fees) or $25 at the door.
Jacqueline Schwab will also perform in concert later that same day - Saturday, November 4 at 7:30 p.m. at Orange Coast Unitarian Universalist Church. Free parking is available adjacent to the church and complimentary child care is provided for children six years of age and under with a reservation.
Schwab's performance, "Mark Twain's America," is the second concert in the 2006-2007 Orange Coast Concerts series, which is sponsored by Orange Coast Unitarian Universalist Church and open to the community.
