Monotype Printmaking
Explore the innovative painterly printmaking process of monotype. This accessible medium allows both novices and experienced artists to create finished images in relatively few steps. Participants will develop an understanding of fundamental printmaking terms, materials, and inking techniques using oil-based inks with non-toxic clean-up. The workshop will cover the following techniques: multiple plate drop, stencils, chine collé, and mixed media/collage. TWO DAY WORKSHOP. Saturday, October 18, and Sunday, October 19. 10AM-4PM (Please bring a lunch). For Adults.
