Sella Mosca Wine Dinner at Ink & Elm featuring Campari

Sella Mosca, a winery owned by the famed Campari, has picked Ink & Elm to host a special event: A dinner honoring the wines of Italy paired with a five-course meal specially prepared by Ink & Elm's Executive Chef Stephen Sharp.

Sella Mosca celebrated its centennial in 1999. Located in Sardinia near the historic port of Alghero, Sella Mosca's I Piani wine estate is one of the largest contiguous vineyard in Italy with more than 1,200 ares of vines. The wines of Sella Mosca are consistently rated among Italy's most outstanding.

The evening will start with a reception in Ink & Elm's private dining room during which guests will be served an aperitif featuring the traditional Italian spirit Campari. Guests will mingle with a Sella Mosca winemaker direct from Italy who will guide the dinners through the pairings of these prized Sella Mosca wines:
(1) La Cala, Vermentino di Sardegno D.O.C. '12;
(2) Cannonau di Sardegna, D.O.C. Riserva '10;
(3) Marchese di Villamarina, Alghero D.O.C '04; and
(4) Terre Rare, Carignano del Sulcis D.O.C. Riserva.
As a great end to the evening, Ink & Elm's own house Lemoncello, prepared expertly by mixologist Nick Chaivarlis, will serve as the final pairing.
