2015 CDC Speed The Plow
A satirical dissection of the American movie business in Hollywood, SPEED-THE-PLOW focuses on two high-powered Hollywood executives, Charlie Fox and Bobby Gould, who have come up from the mail-room together. Charlie brings Bobby a surefire hit with a major star attached. Bobby seems certain to give the green light, until his beautiful new secretary Karen gets involved. Karen slyly determines that a novel, not the movie-star script, should be the company's next film. She sleeps with Bobby who is so smitten with Karen and her ideals that he pleads with Charlie to drop the star project and and pitch the writer's book.
