Sept 23 WTS Lunch Program
Strategically Strengthening Your Organization (Cost Effectively!)
In the next few years, the workforce will be shrinking as Baby Boomers enter the golden years of retirement. Economic difficulties have led to dramatic budget cuts in organizations and businesses in all industries.
How will you and your organization move forward when key skilled workers retire at the same time as training budgets are shrinking?
Were glad you asked! Regardless of how your organization currently trains and mentors employees, now may be the time to consider how effectively you are leveraging training, leadership and mentoring opportunities.
WTS is excited to present Strategically Strengthening Your Organization (Cost Effectively!). Lois Cohen, of Lois D. Cohen Associates, will present mentoring concepts to our audience that address: Transmitting organizational values and preserving institutional memory. Mentoring across generations, genders, and cultures. What you dont know about your learning style. The oft unconsidered factor: power dynamics in the mentor/mentee relationship.
So if you are an employee ready to take the next steps to reach leadership positions, a manager looking to most effectively guide your team, or a business owner looking to maximize your workforce this WTS luncheon is for you! Be prepared for an interactive program. Please bring a writing utensil, a list of any questions you might have, and an open mind. This luncheon is designed for organizations with or without a formal mentoring program, as well as those organizations looking to get to the next level. This program will benefit everyone, whether you are top management, middle management, or just simply trying to manage!
