The Wholesale Klezmer Band
The Wholesale Klezmer Band has been performing since 1982. The band was invited to joina Celebration of Folk Music for the 100th anniversary of Carnegie Hall hosted by Pete Seeger, and at the Inauguration of President Clinton. The band's repertoire includes music for dance, traditional Yiddish folk songs, and Yiddish theater and vaudeville songs, including original compositions.
The finest folk, roots and world music in an intimate 200 seat listening room. Doors open at 7 pm to the "Folk Tailgate Party." Don't forget your picnic basket!
