Frank Glazer
Called by some "an American treasure," by others, "elder statesman of the piano," Frank Glazer left his native Wisconsin at the age of 17, in 1932, to study in Berlin with Artur Schnabel, the legendary Beethoven and Schubert interpreter.
With his debut in 1936 at New York City's Town Hall, he embarked on a career that has taken him to the major performance venues in the United States, Europe, the Near East, and South America, including solo recitals, appearances with orchestras, and collaborations with major chamber music ensembles.
