AXIS Dance Company Benefit Auction 2014
AXIS Dance Company will hold its 5th annual benefit auction on Saturday, September 27, 2014 at the beautifully restored performing arts facilities, Malonga Casquelourd Center for the Arts in Oakland, CA. Comedian Dhaya Lakshminarayanan, voted Best Comedian by SF Bay Guardian in 2013, will host this year's benefit.
Guests from around the Bay Area will partake in the festivities. The evening will begin with a silent auction featuring fabulous auction packages, including items from Oaklandish, Piperade Restaurant, Berkeley Symphony, Yoga Garden SF, Smuin Ballet, The Crucible, to name a few, while sampling delicious bites and sipping tasty cocktails. Guests will then enjoy a special performance by AXIS Dance Company dancers showcasing AXIS' artistic and education work. Also, included in the program, a special Fund-A-Need to support our education and outreach programs.
All proceeds from the benefit auction will support AXIS Dance Company's pioneering performances and inspiring dance education and outreach programs.
