Employment: Finding The Best Fit ((FULL))
Believing your son or daughter with a disability is employable and thinking about what kinds of jobs will work is the key. Jobs need to both maximize each person's potential and be supported.
Families will walk through a series of exercises designed to uncover the best possible fit for Employment or Jobs for their adult son or daughter.
We will look at skills, strengths and hidden talents as well as outline needed supports. Families will leave with a blueprint for paid supported employment specific to their own son or daughter.
Led by Debra Mclean, who has an MS in Rehabilitation, believes that all people can work and uses person centered planning as a process for individuals with significant support needs to get jobs.
