Ringel Jazz Collective
The Ringel Jazz Collective is made up of some of the finest jazz musicians from the state of North Carolina, and its members have been nationally recognized for excellence on their instruments. The members of the Ringel Jazz Collective have attended prestigious music schools including University of Miami, the University of North Texas, and Indiana University, among others. The Ringel brothers (Lowell on bass, Evan on trombone) founded this group in 2012 as they began to explore their personal compositional styles using the Collective as a creative vehicle. Featuring the sublime talents of Michael D'Angelo on drums and Russell Favret on guitar, this group truly showcases a unique approach to jazz standards and originals alike.
