All About Jack: The Impersonators of Jack Nicholson
Bay Area native Patrick O'Sullivan brought his unique comedy show "All About Walken: The Impersonators of Christopher Walken" to The Clubhouse last year with rousing success. That show has run in Los Angeles since 2006 (recently headlining The Improv comedy club). Now he is back with a new muse that National Public Radio's "All Things Considered" calls his labor of love. The show is based on his favorite actor and is titled "All About Jack: The Impersonators of Jack Nicholson." 8 Jacks and one vivacious vixen take to the stage in the shows strange brew of career tribute, sketches, audience participation, improvisation and multimedia. The troop of young and old Nicholsons also enact Marlon Brando, Kobe Bryant and Fidel Castro to name a few, on the wild ride through the life and times of perhaps Hollywood's greatest star. Local ties can be found throughout the cast with O'Sullivan and Jessica Hopper being from Millbrae, Amy Kelly and Darrin Bird (Sacramento) and Ahmad Russ (an SF/LA actor). They take the stage with Jason J. Lewis, Lawrence Dwyer, William Joseph Hill and Charlie Abraham. After "Jacking" Los Angeles audiences since June of this year, the group brings their infectious comedic energy to the Clubhouse on October 10th and 11th, where the last audience member leaving the Walken show last year reportedly said to the box office attendant "this show's better than marijuana."
