Topsy Turvy and other Dances
Haruko Nishimura along with collaborators Leo Mayberry (video), Christine Tschirgi (costume), Marissa Niederhauser & Trinidad Martinez (dance) and Jeffrey Huston & Joshua Kohl (music) will present their Dance of the Topsy Turvy at the CANOE SOCIAL CLUB on September 11th (10pm) and 12th (2pm & 10pm) along with a selection of other small dances and film. Additional costume by Jeni Faldine.

Inspired by the antique Topsy Turvy doll - Red Riding Hood on one end and Grandmother on the other - Dance of the Topsy Turvy melds dance, video, live music and costume invention. Come be part of the soundscape! Hang out and talk with us after the performance - well do a Q&A!
CANOE SOCIAL CLUB is located at Theatre Off Jackson in the former space of the Wing Luke Museum at 409 7th Ave South, Seattle, WA 98104.
Canoe Social Club hosts a full bar (10pm shows only) and a spectacular art gallery!
