Ellen Reid, keyboardist & vocalist for "The Crash Test Dummies" is holding a FUNDRAISER in support of Esther the Wonder Pig! Esther's people are building a farm animal sanctuary. A cause to which she is deeply committed.
Ellen Reid is the keyboardist and vocalist for the multi platinum selling, Juno winning and Grammy nominated Canadian band, Crash Test Dummies. Crash Test Dummies are best known for their hits Superman Song, Mmm Mmm Mmm and Peter Pumpkinhead. Although now in semi-retirement, Reid is giving her first solo performance in 14 years in a benefit concert in support of Esther the Wonder Pig as she and her Dads work toward building a sanctuary for abused and neglected farm animals in rural Ontario.
A committed vegan and animal rights supporter, Reid has vowed to use her hair flipping and whiny vagina music for good, instead of evil.
The show will include CTD hits, some of Reid's solo material and some hand picked cover material. There might also be some swearing and fart jokes. Hard to tell, really.
All proceeds from ticket sales, cd sales and raffle tickets will go directly to help support Esther's sanctuary!
