BARS presents To Music: 2009-2010 Gala
Join the Bay Area Rainbow Symphony (BARS) at our 2009-2010 Season Gala, To Music, as we celebrate the most "gracious Art" under the baton of Daniel Canosa, artistic director.
Our evening showcases: -- John Corigliano's* (known for his grammy winning Symphony No. 1 and oscar-winning score to The Red Violin) deeply-emotive To Music; -- Rachmaninoff's dazzling Rhapsody on a Theme of Paganini with international pianist Daniel Glover*; and -- Dvorak's beloved Symphony no. 8
*Presented as part of the BARS LGBT Composer and Performing Artist Series
