Toni Basil, multi award winning choreographer, dancer, and singer shares the insane stories of her life, living room style, over drinks, with funny, inspirational tales about life, sex, entertaining and her drug of choice, dancing. Toni has worked with some of the biggest personalities in the business from Bette Midler to David Bowie for over three decades and her insight into life as she sees it from the side-wings will certainly make you laugh but are also a testament to women who have fought for their careers, succeeded and done it with style, humor and grace. A distinct character in her own way and well known for her iconic song and video, "Mickey", which became an international multi-million selling #1 song - installed in the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame as one of the groundbreaking singles of the 1980s. Alongside her Emmy, Toni is the recipient of Hip Hop International's Living Legend Award and is widely recognized for bringing street dance to prominence as a founding member of The Lockers. Toni shares the best and worst of her career, including her acting stints in "Five Easy Pieces" and "Easy Rider" via anecdotes, a little hoofing, film, photos and music clips. This force of nature is proof that life can be a dance - and when you see her move - you too will know that dance can give you life.
