Emma's Last Dance reveals the secrets that abound in the turbulent lives of Eudora Whitney, a plantation manager's wife, her family and friends in the last peaceful days leading up to the Japanese attack on Pearl Harbor.

Director and Playwright: David Penhallow Scott
David Penhallow Scott is a fifth-generation kama'aina and a descendent of William Hyde Rice, the last governor of Kaua'i under the Kingdom of Hawai'i. An author, playwright, professional actor, teacher, he has taught drama and speech at Kauai Community College and at mainland schools, and served as director of the Kauai Museum, among many other positions. A true Renaissance man, David has incorporated many of his experiences as a witness to major local and world events into his numerous books and plays.
