Queens County Farm Labor Day BBQ & Camp Out
Kegs and Cluckers Camp Out featuring Tom Mylan
Want to sleep out under the stars and then wake up to a rooster's crow while still in New York City?
Want to enjoy some Brooklyn Brewery's finest suds while chowing down on a pulled chicken sandwich, smoked by butcher Tom Mylan?
Want to dance the night away with DJ Sam Kim then chow down on warm peach pie from Sweet Deliverance?
Want to support the city's largest and oldest sustainable agriculture and education center?
How could you not?
Come spend Labor Day at the Queens County Farm Museum. Camp out in the orchard, eat a down home dinner of smoked chicken, pickles, baked beans, cornbread, salads, pie, and more, and drink your fill from a selection of Brooklyn Brewery beers. Join us on the farm anytime after 5p.m.
We'll have dinner, bluegrass, a DJ and dancing, a camp fire, fun games, pie, watermelon, breakfast the next morning and of course, enough kegs and cluckers to go around and then some.
We will be selling tickets to the event at the gate. All guests will receive wristbands and a cup that we hope they will use all night.
NOTE: We will not be renting tents on the farm day of the event. Please visit our friends at Tent & Trails (http://www.tenttrails.com/) to rent a tent in advance.
