The Practice of Omanitew
AASCF is offering agency, regional, DFNA and ministry staff an opportunity to be involved with a unique way of incorporating Indigenous knowledge that will impact upon how they think, work, and evaluate the work that is being done within their programs. Previously, the omanitew experience has been very meaningful and resulted in changes of attitude, behavior and internal programming.
Presenters: Dr. Ralph Bodor and Dr. Leona Makokis (with assistance from others including an elder)
This program has evolved from the program offered to University of Calgary Social Work students at Blue Quills College.
