Chez Bushwick Presents: 2Night Show September, Chez Bushwick AIRs
Chez Bushwick offers three-month residencies dedicated to fostering the creation, development, and performance of new work by both emerging and mid-career choreographers. Artists in residence are provided rehearsal space, monthly peer forums, and a culminating performance to support the creative process.

Connor Voss - Or or or
Queer white male featuring formalism and joy.
What is a performance and why would I make one?

Method = content

This sentence is part of the performance.

And this one is too.

Danielle Russo - beloved
beloved aims to deconstruct and reclaim temptations, traditions, methods and presumptions of submission. Its process confronts the paradox and the stamina of the seen body. The crux and context of the movement vocabulary is conceived in reflex to the collective personal steeped in manifestations of faith and obedience. Its interest lies in dissolving the body, the pious, the precious, the irreverent and its reveal.

Nicole Wolcott  PaperPieces
In this solo journey through a paper landscape, the audience becomes voyeurs and co-conspirators to its consequent ruin and redefining of space and Wolcott's place in it. Wolcott gives a highly kinetic and evocative performance of a naïve caught in snow-globe memories, a haute couture avatar doing battle and a woman balancing on the most delicate edge of love.

Samuel Swanton - Rocket Summer
Rocket Summer, a non-narrative work for two dancers, explores varieties of improvisational structures, be they physical or emotional, in an evolving space. Performers dash, slither, tap, and dive across space or upon each other, while also encountering and interacting with an ever-changing lighting arrangement drifting across their plane.
