The Manhattan Wonderwalk

What is it? A 14-hour walk of the island of Manhattan.
When? Saturday, September 12th, 2009.
Hours? 10am to Midnight.
14 HOURS? Yes, but you may walk as much or as little as you like.
How does that work? The map you receive will have locations and times for approximately every hour of the day.
Just walking? Nope, also performances, camaraderie, public art, occasional tour guides, and yes, a lot of walking.
Why? To look at the Island of Manhattan as a work of art.
And? To support The Secret City, a monthly sanctuary for artists and other conscious, creative people.
Anything else?? The Manhattan Wonderwalk is an incredible, collaborative ritual. We hope you'll join us.

And remember, wear good shoes, eat breakfast first, bring your own lunch/snacks, and money for dinner. Oh, and a refillable water bottle. Oh, and sunscreen.
