Martin Kasík - Salon Piano Series
Kasík will bring his renowned fluidity and spontaneity to a variety of pieces, including one of Beethoven's most technically challenging piano sonatas (No. 26, "Les Adieux") and one of his most beloved (No. 14, "Moonlight Sonata").

Martin Kasík ranks among the foremost Czech pianists of today. The winner of a number of prestigious competitions, he has appeared in many major concert venues including Carnegie Halls Weill Recital Hall, the Kennedy Center in Washington, D.C., and Finlandia Hall in Helsinki. As a soloist, he has appeared with orchestras such as the Chicago Symphony Orchestra, the Minneapolis Symphony Orchestra, and the Deutsches Symphonie Orchester of Berlin. In 2008, Kasík was appointed President of the Chopin Festival in Mariánské Lázně. Since 2009, he has taught piano at the Prague Conservatory and presently he also teaches at the Academy of Performing Arts in Prague.
