WHAT:
A varied program of classical, jazz, and theatre songs with works by Faure, Mozart, Barber, Brahms, Delibes, Sheik, and others.
Annmarie Rizzo began studying violin and piano at a young age, but quickly adopted singing as her chief musical passion. Since 2008, she has studied voice at the Colburn School of Music with Kay Montgomery. She is the first place recipient of the Music Teachers National Association Competition (Classical Voice Category - State Level) and was first runner up in the Southwest Divisional. She was also a featured soloist at the Tanglewood Institute and recently participated at Songfest as a Young Artist.
This concert will act as her send off performance before beginning her education at Boston University to study vocal performance and opera. Don't miss the opportunity to see a true rising talent.
