CHARLIE KOHLHASE'S EXPLORER'S CLUB
Alto, tenor and baritone saxophonist Charlie Kohlhase has been a mainstay of Bostons jazz scene for over twenty years. Whether leading his two newest bands, performing in a dozen others or writing over 50 compositions, his music spans a broad range of styles with an emphasis on the contemporary and the improvised. Come join the Explorers Club as we celebrate the release of our Boxholder CD 'Adventures.' The lineup includes Charlie Kohlhase: alto, tenor & baritone saxophones; Matt Langley: tenor & soprano saxophones; Jeff Galindo: trombone; Eric Hofbauer: guitar; Jef Charland: bass; Miki Matsuki & Chris Punis: drums & percussion.
