2009 Spaces for Urban Living: The Downtown Seattle Home Tour
Experience what life would be like to live downtown at the Market Foundation's Spaces for Urban Living: Downtown Home Tour on Sunday, September 20 from 1 - 5 pm.
Spaces for Urban Living focuses on the variety of lifestyles to be found in downtown condominium and apartment living and on the ways that urban dwellers create unique private spaces in the heart of the city. The 2009 tour will feature 8 homes in buildings located within walking distance of the Pike Place Market, including the Mosler Lofts and The Vine. Homes in the self-guided walking tour are selected because of interest in the buildings or particular units architecture or interior design, as well as art, use of space and the ways the home reflect the personalities of the residents. From funky to chic, all the homes are distinctive.
Advance tickets are $25. Day of event tickets are $30 and available at the registration tent on 1st and Pike.
The 2009 Spaces for Urban Living: Downtown Home Tour is sponsored by Design Within Reach and Seattle Homes & Lifestyles Magazine. Funds raised help provide services for the low-income residents of downtown Seattle, including the Pike Market Medical Clinic, Senior Center, Child Care & Preschool and Downtown Food Bank.
