OZ FARM 20th ANNIVERSARY HARVEST FESTIVAL
Oz Farm celebrates its 20th year of organic farming by reviving its popular Harvest Festival after a three year hiatus. This year the festival will be September 26 from noon until 5:00 PM. All day live music will include the Loose Licks Jug Band, Kerosene Kondors and more bands to be announced. Great food, apple pies, and fun for all will benefit Arena Theater and the Pacific Community Charter School.
This year marks Oz Farms 20th growing season in the beautiful Garcia River valley and we want to thank all the people who have supported our organic farming operation and our retreat center.
Local chef Aaron Peters will once again be behind the grill serving up local and farm-grown lunches at reasonable prices. Chris Noll will once again lead the pie baking effort choosing from among the 55 varieties of antique and heirloom apples we grow in the OZ orchard. Pat Cordrey will offer on-site our Farmers Market booth usually found at the Gualala Farmers market. And we hope to have our first bottling of early season apple juice available too. There will be a bar serving local beer and wine. We will have a silent art auction with works from local artists in the barn. Entry fee is $15 per adult and $5 for children 12 and under. Tickets will be available at the gate but advance purchase is requested to help our planning.
Please do not bring the family dog! Look forward to seeing you there!
