Written, directed and produced by Juan Mandelbaum, Our Disappeared is his search for friends who were disappeared in his native Argentina by the military dictatorship from 1976 to 1983. Through dramatic stories told by parents, siblings, friends and children of the disappeared, and using rare archival footage, it is shown what happens when brutal regimes attack the fabric of a country with great impunity causing enormous damage and suffering that last for generations.
The movie and Lisas presentation will be followed by a Q & A period and a posterior reception in the Sky room.
