Cierra Sisters, Inc. Monthly Meeting
Cierra Sisters is a 501(c)3 African-American breast cancer survivors' and support organization. CS is committed to increasing attention to the devastating impact of breast cancer in the African-American and others under-served in our community. CS promotes the importance of education and advocacy through its outreach projects and organizational collaborations. Through its Each-One-Teach-One program, CS provides group support and health education.
Cierra Sisters, Inc. was conceived and founded by Bridgette Hempstead, a breast cancer survivor. "Cierra", an African name meaning "knowing" reminds us that when we have knowledge, we have power against the effects of breast cancer.
We meet the 4th Thursday of each Month 6:15 pm - 8:15 pm Rainier Community Center 4600 38th Ave. S. Seattle, WA. 98178
