Ian Morgan Cron at The Well, a gathering place for conversation
The Well introduces a new sustained focus area on Spiritual Journey/Pilgrimage. Ian Morgan Cron will be our first speaker to help us explore how journey and pilgrimage inform our sense of self, sense of self in the world, and spiritual identity.
Author and Episcopal priest, Ian has spoken at Willow Creek, Yale University, the Catalyst Conference, the International Arts Movement Encounter, Story 2011, the Center for Action and Contemplation with Richard Rohr, the Wild Goose Festival, The Storyline Conference with Donald Miller, and Becca Stevens at An Evening of Stories at the Country Music Hall of Fame.
Ian is the curator of the Conversations on Courage and Faith Series at Christ Church in Greenwich, Connecticut, which has hosted Nobel Laureate Archbishop Desmond Tutu, author and Medal of Freedom Winner Maya Angelou, theologian NT Wright, and Richard Rohr, among others.
Ian will speak on the spiritual experiences of exile, being a pilgrim, and homecoming.
He is the author of "Chasing Francis: A Pilgrim's Tale" & "Jesus, My Father, the CIA and Me: A Memoir...Of Sorts."
