As a performer, you've heard it a thousand times: "You have to write for yourself." In this four-week class, actor, comedian, and award winning novelist DC Pierson will help you craft hilarious solo pieces that show off your performance chops. Through fun in-class exercises, you'll learn how to hone your voice and write great pages only you can perform. By the end of class, you'll walk away with either a well-crafted personal story (perfect for a live storytelling show like The Moth) or solo character piece (perfect for a variety show or comedy audition) that you'll present in a grand-finale class show. We'll even bring a packed house for you. You know you're up for it. It's time to go solo!
