Founded by Dan Kosta and Michael Browne in the summer of 1997, Kosta Browne has become one of the most highly sought after Pinot Noir producers in California. Dan and Michael met while working at John Ash & Co. restaurant in Santa Rosa and decided to endeavor into the field of winemaking. They saved their tip money for about eight months and purchased a half ton of Pinot Noir, a single barrel, and a used hand-crank de-stemmer and crusher. From there, Kosta Browne has grown to produce three appellation Pinot Noirs from Sonoma Coast, Russian River Valley, and Santa Lucia Highlands, in addition to numerous single vineyard wines from premium vineyards within these appellations. Their goal is to create wines that are highly flavorful and intense. They believe that every wine should be bursting with flavor but retain its balance. Please join us as we welcome Dan Kosta for a dinner featuring the wines of Kosta Browne with a special menu crafted by Chefs Mark Sullivan and John Madriaga.
