Join Local Creative for an afternoon of flowers, food, home goods, local makers and photography shared over a simple summer lunch. Learn the basics of food and prop styling while building relationships with similar minded folks and mingling with our featured makers.
Jenna and Nicole will be demonstrating how small business owners, entrepreneurs and aspiring bloggers can create the perfect image for telling their own story or growing an online community. Tips for the best apps to use, notes on composition and how to develop a online brand presence will be revealed. We are passionate about helping local businesses grow, and enhancing participants photography and styling skills.
We are excited to have textile artist, Maryanne Moodie, create one of a kind table runners for the class, ceramics from Signe Yberg, sweets provided by Ovenly Bakery, additional props from Straw & Gold's online home shop and lunch provided by the new Whole Foods in Gowanus. We will sip on a glass of wine while we prepare a meal, style a table-scape, and come away with a new eye for composing a photograph. Students will leave class with a recipe and special gift from the day's styling.
