Songea Soiree 2014: EYES ON EDUCATION Join Songea's Kids on November 15, 2014, 5:30 p.m., at the Northwest African American Museum in Seattle for our annual fundraiser. Enjoy a free museum tour, food, drinks, and live and silent auctions with proceeds supporting at risk orphaned and vulnerable children in Songea, Tanzania, East Africa. Education has the power to lift orphans from extreme poverty to lead healthy, productive lives. With your help and support, these orphans will become educated as nurses, teachers, business leaders, mechanics, builders, self-reliant workers and entrepreneurs. At the event, you will hear from a team that just returned from Songea and Lutukira, sites of our southern Tanzania programs. And we will celebrate six years of success for Songea's Kids.
