Out by Ten: Laugh, Love, Dance: KJ Denhert's Folk/Rock/Jazz Music
On August 28, 2014, Out by Ten producers, Jane Ashe and Susan Seliger, present KJ Denhert, world-famous folk/rock/jazz singer and songwriter, just back from her tour in the Czech Republic.
KJ's sultry voice, smart, funny lyrics and rockin' guitar-playing have earned her four Independent Music Award nominations. In 2009 she was named as one of JAZZ.COM's top female vocalists.
In 2012 KJ won the prestigious JOHN LENNON SONGWRITING CONTEST. She has played Jazz festivals and clubs from Canada to Europe and Asia, is a favorite at the Blue Note and has a regular Saturday night gig at the renown 55 Bar Jazz Club in the heart of the West Village.
KJ is a gifted and dynamic performer whose original lyrics will make you laugh & cry and whose energy will touch your soul.
The Time:
7:30-9:30 PM on the fourth Thursday of the month, August 28 2014.

The Back Story: Out by Ten Producers Jane Ashe and Susan Seliger, hand pick the best, cutting-edge musicians, storytellers, singers and multimedia performers to create a night of inspiration (not to mention free wine and cheese) the fourth Thursday of the month, in a downtown NYC salon-space (Spectrum NYC, written up in the New York Times as a great place to get your culture fast!).
