An evening with Steven D. Levitt and Stephen J. Dubner, authors of 'SuperFreaknomics'
Steven D. Levitt and Stephen J. Dubner will be at Town Hall Seattle on November 2nd to discuss their new book, 'SuperFreakonomics: Global Cooling, Patriotic Prostitutes and Why Suicide Bombers Should Buy Life Insurance'. In 2005, 'Freakonomics' was published and forever changed our understanding of how the world works, how we really make decisions, and even how we name our children. This revolutionary book spent two years on The New York Times bestseller list and spawned a new genre of books on behavioral economics. 'Superfreakonomics' is based on all-new research and original studies by Steven D. Levitt, who was recently awarded the American Economic Association John Bates Clark Medal, given to the economist under age 40 who has made the greatest contribution to this discipline. Levitt has also been named one of Time Magazine's "100 People Who Shape Our World". Stephen J. Dubner is the co-author of both books and is an award-winning journalist.
Join us for an evening with the men who took the 'dismal' out of the economic sciences. The ticket price includes a copy of 'SuperFreakonomics', which each attendee will receive upon check-in. Doors open at 6:15pm and the talk begins at 7pm -------------------- For more information about this event, please email info@kimricketts.com or call 206.632.2419
