Originally from Stoughton, MA, Mike Viola is best known as singer,songwriter and musical architect of the Candy Butchers, a highly regarded indie pop-rock band that recorded three critically acclaimed albums for Sony. Along with his Candy Butchers releases, Mike's recorded a string of solo albums including 2008's "Lurch." His extensive film credits include the soundtracks for "Walk Hard," "That
Thing You Do!," "In The Land Of Women," and the forthcoming "Get Him To The Greek." And his production credits include Mandy Moore's most recent release, "Amanda Leigh," which he also co-wrote.
Mike's Lizard Lounge shows and residencies are more like homecomings,and are legendary for their highly entertaining and often spontaneous musical hijinks.
