ADVANCE TICKETS SOLD OUT!!!
We are holding back tickets to sell at the door, as long as we don't reach capacity for comfortable dancing.
October 19th at Glen Echo Park's Spanish Ballroom, the Folklore Society of Greater Washington is sponsoring the 4th annual ContraStock contradance festival. The dance goes from 1PM through 11PM. You may bring food to share in the potluck held during the dinner-time intermission (6-7PM). Here are the dancing details:
The three bands performing are:
- Coffee Zombies (1PM)
- Perpetual E-Motion (3:40PM)
- Elixir (7PM)
Callers will be Bev Bernbaum, Will Mentor and Nils Fredland.
At 9:40PM there will be an all-band hoedown dance jam!
Buy your ticket with a T-shirt included for an extra $17 if ordered before 15 September. ($20 afterwards)
- Regular T-shirts are Teal and Gold.
- Ladies Tank shirts are Green and Purple.
Sizes for all shirts are S, M, L, XL and 2XL.
