Expose the Eastside Dance Collective Summer Workshop
Expose The Eastside Dance Collective (a project of Ballet Bellevue), is offering a new opportunity to four young choreographers who believe the Eastside Community can be brought closer together by combining their passion of creating movement with the great dance talent they see on the Eastside of King County. Their new works which are currently being set on aspiring young dancers of the Puget Sound region, will be performed at the Holiday Bash performance on Sunday Dec 14th at 7pm at Redmond Senior Center. Choreographers include: Ahmen Taplin. Byanka Larkins, Lauren Thomas & Natasha Keeley. Expose The Eastside Dance Collective Summer Workshop is a fundraiser for our Holiday Smash Performance in December that will also give dancers of all styles and background an opportunity to explore new movement styles in a fun and non-competitive environment. The four teachers, all coming from very unique dance backgrounds, are each teaching a 1 hour class of various styles, including contemporary, jazz, hip-hop, and salsa. Each class will begin with movement basics and understanding and gradually become more challenging, enabling accessibility and benefit for all levels. You may purchase a ticket for any and/or all of the classes, and are encouraged to bring your friends and family.
