Vinfest Dinner-Dance in the Vineyard
Vinfest 2009, Cellardoor Winery's annual fall harvest celebration, takes place October 2-3. The weekend begins Friday night, October 2, with a wine dinner-dance under the stars in Cellardoor's vineyard. Each course will be paired with Cellardoor's wines, and the evenings menu will be prepared by local star chefs Lawrence Klang (Natalie's Camden Harbour Inn), Melody Wolfertz (In Good Company), and Michael Salmon (Hartstone Inn). Dinner will be followed by desserts and dancing, with dance music provided by Maine Pro Musica, an orchestra comprised of professional musicians and founded by Rockport resident Janna Hymes. The party coordinator is Belfast's Trillium Caterers, Inc.
Tickets to Fridays dinner-dance will also gain you access to the Saturday, October 3 Vinfest festivities at the Vineyard including a stellar array of food, wine, music and activities for grown-ups. The Winery will host grape stomping, a homemade wine competition, wine tastings, lunch prepared and served by Riverfront Barbeque & Grille of Augusta, wine cellar tours, live music all day, farm stands, hot air balloon rides and many other great activities!
