Curator Spotlight Tours: Library Exhibition Hall
Dig deeper into the Huntington's collections as curatorial staff shine the spotlight on specific Huntington treasures. These 30 minute exhibit tours will allow participants to look more closely at works and discover stories, techniques, and histories of fascinating objects in the Huntington's collections.
11:15 a.m.- 11:45 a.m. on the following Thursdays
* Thursday, September 11- Vanessa Wilkie, Curator of British historical Manuscripts discusses The Ellesmere Manuscript of Chaucer's Canterbury Tales.
* Thursday, September 18- Olga Tsapina, Curator of American Historical Manuscripts, discusses the Fort Sumter Log book, which contains a record of slaves that the Confederate States of America authorized its army to seize for military use.
* Thursday, October 9- Sue Hodson, Curator of Literary Manuscripts, discusses Jack London items on display, including the charred manuscript remains of The Sea Wolf.
