Lysistrata
Lysisistrata, Aristophanes' ancient Greek comedy, gets a brand-new, wildly original makeover in a gender-playful 75-minute romp. Mother-and-daughter directing team Cheri and Emma Steinkellner inject the classic with music, dance and bubbles - lots of bubbles. Lysistrata will be mounted* on the hilltop theater at Godric Grove in Elings Park, 1298 Las Positas Road July 18, 21, and 23 at 7:00 pm.
