South Jersey Pops Orchestra 2014 Holiday Concert
The South Jersey Pops Orchestra's 2014 Holiday show will be a musical Christmas stocking stuffed with the rich array of music inspired by the season. Traditional carols and melodies that have become the season's standards will be interwoven with the equally beautiful melodies enjoyed by peoples around the world.
Admission is $8.00, children middle-school age and younger are admitted free (no ticket is required).
Conductor and music director Robert Schiavinato, in his third season with the South Jersey Pops, brings with him nearly 20 years of experience as a conductor and instrumentalist with both professional and community musical ensembles. Mr. Schiavinato has a degree in Music Education from Glassboro State College and a degree in Brass Performance from Temple and has studied at the Julliard School and the Royal Academy of Music.
Funding for the South Jersey Pops is made possible in part by the New Jersey State Council on the Arts/Department of State, a Partner Agency of the National Endowment for the Arts through a grant to the Burlington County Board of Chosen Freeholders.
